What do you think it takes to make it the music world of today? Things are not the same as they used to be. Bootleggin is taking it's toll, and cd's are becoming a thing of the past.

LUCK....marketing, marketing, marketing and mo marketing of the artist.
A strong connection between the audience and the artist and his marketing management team.
LOVE .....love of his music, love of the people who the music help, love for the playa haters, love for the world.
Branding of all the products connected to that particular artist concept theme.
A good life partner who is supportive, creative and very much in sync with there partners dream.
BELIEVE .... with everything in you that it will happen, while acting as if it already has happened.
Luck is preparation meeting opportunity ....right place and right time.

If the old foundation of the music world aint cutting it;
i feel like we gotta tear it down and start building again.
hard work and determination is only a small portion of what needs
to be done in order to make it in this game. not exactly knowing
the correct answere to the question; i think having some sort of solid
game plan is the best step headed to any successful path.
without a map, it doesnt really matter if you have the key to the lost treasure.
